Hazelburn is Springbank Distillery’s unique triple-distilled release from Campbeltown. Produced in the traditional Irish method, the spirit undergoes three rounds in the stills before being casked.
The Hazelburn 8 Years Old Sherrywood was distilled in February 2017 and matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks for 8 years. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, this whisky is non-chill filtered and free from added coloring, with only 10,500 bottles available.

Color: Light amber.
Aroma: On the nose, red fruits greet you, with the sherry influence clear but not overpowering. Notes of roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, and caramel round out the experience.
Flavor: On the palate, it hardly feels like a triple-distilled whisky. Notes of caramel, dark chocolate, pears, and lemon zest are complemented by hints of leather.
Finish: Delicate and slightly dry, with flavors of orange chocolate, salted caramel, and black pepper, alongside hints of strawberry jam and toasted nuts.
